Holy freakin heck! I LOVE LOVE LOVED this! My heart broke for Blister. So much pain he went through. They all did but he has the physical scars. Lives in solitude in his tent outside being away from everyone. Annie...sweet innocent Annie is his mate. He feels he doesn't deserve her and keeps his distance. Calls her his Angel which is really sweet. She thinks he doesnt like her at all and this hurts her to realize that. She's willing to move on since he doesn't seem to want her especially learning from her friends Punk and Ella that they mate for life. So, naturally she thinks she is not his mate since he cant seem to get away from her fast enough. Breaks her heart and shes humiliated. Funny thing is she already knew about them being werewolves. LOL. So, now the doggie is out of the bag he's ripped apart that she thinks shes not his mate and apologizes to him for interfering in his life. Ha...finally he comes to his senses and claims her. Scars dont bother her at all...she loves them actually and loves him with everything she is. She's such an awesome character. I think she's my favorite. :) Blister/Rogan is so stubborn and rough around the edges and shes so sweet and angelic to him. Which he finally realized the fates gave him an angel with everything he's gone through. Finally accepting it all and her and living HEA. *sighs* Can't wait for the next book. Maybe Surge is next?

Poor Blister is scarred from burns when he was younger he thinks he's damaged Annie wants him and trys everything to make him notice her it takes a tornado and damage to her house to get her wish!!!
This story surpassed the other stories of this series. This was my favorite one. The characters were "real." I could easily visualize them. It is a "feel good" love story but not overly so. The story line read well. Just a hint read the stories prior to this one first.
I really love the DTDs. Blisters story pulls at your heart. It is well written and really draws you into both of the characters. I love that with this series they all have very different stories. I love that she doesn't just retell the same story for each Dawg. I loved it!
This is a sweet story. Blister is a scarred wolf shifter with past fears that keep him in isolation. Annie is a very sweet lady who is his intended mate. He's calls her an angel and the description fits. She doesn't have a mean bone in her body. She is totally in love with Blister, but getting him to recognize that is a challenge. He believes he is undeserving of her and feels truly blessed when she accepts him as a mate.
This book was a little bit predictable, but I don't think I would have been able to handle the drama any other way. I really enjoy this series, and this was the story I was looking forward to the most. Usually that sets me up to hate it the worst, but this author delivered, and made the story enjoyable. And just so you know, not everything was predictable.
*** Spoiler *** Sure, it was an HEA, but not everything was resolved at the end, because that many years of emotional scaring, doesn't heal over night. But it is obvious that they are working on it.
I was about to go to bed when I happened to check and see Racing Home was available to buy. So, of course I stayed a wake til 3am because I couldn't put it down. I absolutely loved every bit of this book! This is easily my favorite of this series so far. Annie is such a sweet likeable character and Blister! Loved him. He has some issues and awkward moments when it comes to interacting with Annie but he has her best interests at heart and they get through them together. I'm looking forward to see what happens next in the series, especially with the addition of the cat shifters.
It's sort of ironic that I just reviewed book two with such happiness that I had found a series more about romance the way I like it. A little less demons and a lot more falling in love. Then comes Blisters story and thankfully even though the author had the demons heavy on the pages, she kept it balanced with insights into the heroes mind which let us know where his heart belonged with no doubts. For every moment of insecurity by Blister , he followed it with acts of love, protection and patience. Annie was so innocent but brave and sweet. I loved how they slowly came together.. Healing each others hurts and calming fears.
Such sweet love.. It's just still so refreshing to find loyal character's.
I do feel a little sad that her cat shifters aren't loyal. I hope that doesn't mean the author is OK with cheating and sleeping with others..please don't write stories like that Ms. Jameson.
Heroes who are loyal and committed from day one are truly leading men. Please keep giving us real romance.. Feel good love stories..that's what the true romance lovers want.
